 What’s New for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

The prestigious Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan introduced its sixth generation last year. This midsize luxury car debuted refreshed styling and new features at that time. Despite many updates to the previous model year, the 2025 E-Class also has several exciting improvements.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class launches a new trim level. This is the E 350, which features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. This trim level also features a nine-speed automatic transmission. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is offered as an option for the E 350, and it is standard for the E 450 4MATIC®. The E 450 4MATIC® is powered by a turbo 3.0-liter, V6, 375-horsepower engine. It has the same transmission and drivetrain options as the E 350.

The E 450 4MATIC® All-Terrain is the wagon variant of this model. It adds adaptive suspension dampers, an off-road drive mode, and an air suspension system. At the top of the E-Class’s trim options for 2025 is the AMG® E 53 HYBRID. This sedan receives 577 total horsepower from a plug-in hybrid turbo 3.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. Its all-electric range is up to 42 miles according to EPA estimates. With this trim level, you can enjoy enhanced performance thanks to the sport-tuned adaptive suspension system, upgraded brakes, rear-wheel steering, and sport-tuned rear-wheel drive.

The 2025 E-Class shows off its refreshed style from the 2024 model year as well as a bold new color option. Specifically, Patagonia Red is added to the paint color options. This elite sedan has an aerodynamic, powerful look with a long hood and a brilliantly tapered roof. The sides show off slender, crisp definition rounding over the fenders, well-defined creases, and contouring on the sides. At the front, the E-Class is distinctive with its wide, chrome-accented grille and pointed air inlets. Above these deep-set air vents, the headlights are topped with and underscored by LED light elements.

Inside the cabin, the E-Class adds a center-mounted front airbag. In addition, you can now upgrade your E-Class with a faux leather steering wheel. Features available with the 2025 E-Class are a wireless phone charger, heated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a navigation system with augmented reality, lane keeping, a premium sound system with 17 speakers, an MBUX Superscreen, massaging front seats, a dashboard camera, cabin air purification, leather upholstery, soft-close doors, 3D graphics for the digital instrument cluster, and many additional features.
