Serving Fairfield, CT

While there are many small crossover SUVs on the market today, premium options like the Mercedes-Benz GLC and the BMW X3 stand out in a crowd. These luxury crossovers both have two rows of seating, a wonderful selection of features, and several updates for the 2025 model year. However, with a closer look at what they offer, you will find significant differences between the GLC and X3.

Performance

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered with three distinctive powertrains. The entry-level engine is a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that generates 255 horsepower. A high-performance four-cylinder system is also offered, and it delivers 416 horsepower. The GLC 350e 4MATIC® is a plug-in hybrid trim level that produces 313 combined horsepower. Its range on all-electric power is up to 54 miles. There’s also the AMG® GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE, which comes with a handcrafted AMG® 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 engine and a rear electric motor that combine to create 671 horsepower.

The X3, on the other hand, is offered with only two gas engines. The base engine is a 255-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter system. There is also a turbo 3.0-liter, V6 unit that generates 393 horsepower.

Appearance

The Mercedes-Benz GLC has enviable styling with a gently curved front and a tall, arched roof. The door panels are underscored by a metallic accent bar, and the sides display sporty contouring. On the front end, a segmented crossbar holding the brand logo runs across the grille. The slightly angled headlights are topped by LED accent lighting.

The BMW X3, on the other hand, has rigid, modern styling with a tall profile and boxy front end. The sides have a touch of angled contouring. At the front, the classic, kidney-style grille is differentiated by sharp corners and flat sides. The air inlets are L-shaped, and L-shaped LED bars are embedded in the headlights.

Features

The features in the 2025 GLC will pamper you with modern comforts and technologies. These features include speed-sensitive steering effort, ambient lighting, a premium audio system, heated front and rear seats, a navigation system, a panoramic sunroof, 12-volt power outlets, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, automated parking, a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation screen, an 11.9-inch infotainment system screen, and more.
