Each of the 2026 GLC’s three trim levels has its own powertrain. The GLC 300’s engine is a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, 255-horsepower unit. The GLC 350e 4MATIC® has a plug-in hybrid variant of this engine, and it gives you 313 horsepower. Its all-electric range is estimated at up to 54 miles. The Mercedes-AMG® GLC 43 comes with a 416-horsepower, high-performance turbo 2.0-liter engine. The top two trim levels have standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, while the GLC 300 has rear-wheel drive.

The Volvo XC60 is available with two engines for its four trim levels. The first two trim levels are outfitted with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder mild-hybrid unit that produces 247 horsepower. The alternative is a plug-in hybrid variation of this engine. It offers 455 horsepower and a 35-mile all-electric range.

Appearance

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC expresses sophistication from end to end. Its look is established by a graceful flow across the profile along with smoothly defined surfaces on the hood and sides. At the front, the GLC’s grille has vertical accent bars and extends outward to connect with the multi-elemental LED headlights.

The Volvo XC60 has a long hood with almost flat surfaces across its profile. The sides also have a lean, linear definition. At the front, the Thor’s hammer LED headlights flank the rectangular grille. The grille sports Volvo’s signature sash element.
